Hi Everyone. This is the fifth post in my series 7 Steps to Implementing Law of Attraction for Your Business and Your Life. In the first post we talked about Step 1 Know Your Desire. Everyone. This is the In Step 2 we talked about Knowing That It Will Come. In Step 3 we explored Visualization and Inspired Action. In Step 4 we focused on Inner Dialogue (self-talk)
The law of attraction is the law of creation. Quantum physicists tell us that the entire Universe emerged from thought!. – The Secret
Step 5 is…
Better Questions Lead to Better Answers
Do you commonly ask yourself questions such as:
- What if other people have the power to keep me from getting what I want (won’t give me credit, space, etc.)?
- What if my life, relationship, health is getting worse?
- What if I fail?
- What if I bomb the presentation?
- What if no one buys my product/service/book/etc.?
- What if they don’t like me?
- What if everything I think other people are thinking about me is true?
As you look at each question individually it might seem relatively insignificant, but if you look at them all together and thing about your own self-talk, most likely you are realizing the negative “energy” going into you mind and body.
Better, more empowering questions that will change your life are those such as:
- What if my business is hugely successful?
- What if other people have no power to keep me from getting what I want?
- What if I’m more powerful than I’ve ever thought?
- What if life is getting better and better?
- What if I succeed?
- What if I my presentation is a huge success?
- What if tons of people buy my product/service/book/etc., and love it?
- What if vendors want to work with me?
- What if I live a long and joy filled life, full of friends and family and community?
- What if all the compliments I get are actually true?
When you ask yourself a question, your unconscious mind will automatically search for the answer. If you ask “What if my business is a huge failure, your unconscious mind will find lots of answers to tell you why you are a failure. Whereas, if you ask the question ‘How can I improve to make myself more successful’, your unconscious mind will start to help you find the answer and doors will open to support your success! Asking yourself the right questions is essential. If you find yourself asking negative questions, turn them around to make it more outcome focused and positive.
Yesterday we talked about self-talk. My client was meditating and visualizing regularly and was making progress! When she thought about leaving her job, though, terror took over! I suggested that she ask herself some questions.
Who Are Your Committed to Being In the World?
When you think about answering this question, think about the values and beliefs that your life is founded on and your business will be founded on..
What Are You Committed to?
What is the experience you, your customers and your family will have as a result of your business? This is the outcome you are after for yourself, your family and your customers. This should include things like delivering the best possible product on or before schedule and being home for dinner 4 nights a week. It should also include thinks like respectful boundaries and time for fitness. When you are thinking about what you are committed to also be sure to consider the actions needed to meet those commitments. Words and actions must align. Don’t commit to seeing each client for lunch once each month when there are 20-25 work days in the month and you have 40 clients.
What Can People Count on You For?
This brand, what you stand for. What is it that your customers love about you? What do they know they can get from you that no other company can provide? What do you do that brings them satisfaction, pride and joy? One great thing about the Law of Attraction and how it applies to business is that it’s always at work. If you follow the principles I’ve outlined here, you’ll have a lot more fun creating the business of your dreams.
It is important to know that if your questions are negative and predominantly about what you don’t want, that is what will manifest.
While most of us ask ourselves negative questions once in a while, those who ask these pretty consistently may have negative self-esteem. I had this much of my life and on occasion it still creeps in. When I first realized this many years ago I turned to the expertise of Dr. Joe Rubino. Check out Joe’s free audio here.]
